Amazon 7" Fire Tablet so I can leave the laptop behind- $53.49
Screen protectors and a magnetic case for the tablet- $16.94
Memory card so I can download books and movies for the plane- $21.39
Some things I already had:
Travel sized toiletries
Power adapters from when my brother was abroad
Cosmetics bags and drawstring backpacks to use as packing cubes
Enough clothing to last several lifetimes
What I still need:
Some high quality socks
